Have you ever wanted to create your own cartoons?

This online workshop is part of the Cheshire West and Chester Libraries, Summer Reading Challenge Provision. Inspired by the Silly Squad we are going to be animating our own silly faces. This is a perfect introduction to anyone interested in cartoon animation. During the session, you will be given a crash course on how you can use a smartphone or tablet to start making your own cartoon animations. Participants will learn how to go from idea to animation and get hands-on learning how to use.

  • Drawing Tools
  • Colour Panel
  • Frames
  • Onion Skin

No previous experience is needed to take part in this workshop, meaning it’s perfect for beginners. We suggest a minimum age of 8 for our activities. If you’re not quite old enough why not see if an adult can stay and help you.
