Creative Careers: Digital Music Making

Do you want to make your own music WITHOUT having to use instruments?

This workshop is the perfect introduction to those interested in the music industry and audio related careers. Throughout the workshop you will be given a crash course on how certain elements of audio production works. Participants will learn how to compose their own digital music and will get hands-on:

  • programming drum machines
  • composing using musical loops
  • mixing audio 
  • exporting tracks
No previous musical experience is needed to take part this workshop, meaning is the perfect for beginners to skilled musicians alike.

When is it?

Tuesday 11th February, 4pm-6pm at Crewe Library. 

Who can take part?

We are looking for young people from Crewe with an interest in the creative sector, between the ages of 12 and 25. Who would like to develop their creative and personal skill sets. This session will be open to mixed ability levels, with no previous experience required. Young people facing challenging circumstances, such as being a young carer, in foster care or those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) will be given priority.

If you’ve already filled this out / attended a previous workshop, you will not have to do it again!

Aged 11-17?
