Creative Coding

Creative Taster Sessions in Halton are part of our Creative & Digital Careers in Halton programme which (thanks to European Social Fund) provides training opportunities for Digital Arts & Technology skills for adults 19+ who live in Halton (Widnes & Runcorn).

The sessions have been designed to give all participants hands-on creative experience, with a focus on developing new skills in creative digital arts and technology practise that they may have not tried before.

All of the sessions are delivered to small class sizes (maximum 10) and are delivered by two tutors with industry experience.

Who?

We are looking for people who fulfil the following criteria:

  • Aged 19 and over
  • A resident of Halton Borough
  • Unemployed
  • Legally a resident in the UK and able to take up paid employment in an EU member state

Due to the amount of digital technology we will be using, you will need to have some basic IT skills. These sessions are perfect for anyone who is interested in Creative and Digital Technology, but doesn’t know where to start, or, has very little experience in them and is keen to know more.

Where?

Due to COVID-19 some of the taster sessions will be delivered online via zoom video conferencing. If government guidance allows it, we will also be delivering some of the taster sessions face to face in Runcorn and Widnes.
