Digital Photo Editing | 4 Week Course

FREE 4 Week Online Course as part of the Explore Creativity in Halton Project.

This Explore Creativity in Halton project is part of our Creative & Digital Careers in Halton programme which (thanks to European Social Fund) provides training opportunities for Digital Arts & Technology skills for unemployed adults 19+ who live in Halton (Widnes & Runcorn).

This short course will run as 4 weekly, 2 hour sessions which will be held online (via Zoom) with real tutors, who will teach you and be there to answer your questions.
The sessions have been designed to enable you to develop both creative and technological photo editing skills, as you learn about pathways into creative careers.
The range of activities on offer includes things like: understanding photo editing principles, file formats and sizes, retouching, cropping, colour levels and more…
Through expert tuition, small class sizes and access to a variety of digital tools and technology, this project will open up a world of opportunities to you when you discover that you can develop the skills necessary to consider a future in the Digital Arts and Technology industry.
During these sessions, you will be encouraged to further enhance your skills and knowledge outside of the classroom, by completing the iDEA (inspiring digital enterprise award) award Bronze.

All of the sessions are delivered to small class sizes (maximum 10) and are delivered by two tutors with industry experience.

As an incentive to taking part in the course, participants will receive a £20 Amazon vouchers if they successfully complete the 4-week programme.
