Creative Coding: Light & Sound Workshop + Free Micro:Bits

As part of our Creative Careers project, we’re running a creative coding taster session. This session has been inspired by the Lumen Festival and Wave-Field events that are coming to Crewe this month. During the workshop participants will learn how they can code a sensor to control lights and sounds.

We will be using Micro:Bits, a small programmable circuit board to test different triggers (such as sounds and music) for lights. Don’t worry if you’ve never used one, or if you have never coded before, we will teach you everything. The best bit? If you attend the course, you’ll get to KEEP your very own FREE Micro:Bit. Which you can use at Lumen Festival and Wave-Field. Thanks to Crewe Library for providing the Micro:Bits.
