This session is part of our Halton Short Breaks project. These sessions are funded specificly for young people in Halton with dysabilities.  

Before booking a place on the activity, we need to get some details about the young person who would like to attend and how we can best support them.

Want to bring LEGO to life and create your own movie?

This two hour fun, creative and hands-on LEGO stop-motion workshop is the perfect activity to get you to discover and show off your creative talents by creating a stop-motion animation movie.
You will discover the techniques and tools required to bring LEGO characters to life and create your own short films. You will learn the process of planning, building, shooting, editing and publishing your own stop-motion movies. Your finished movie will be published on YouTube so you can watch it at home and share with friends and family.

Who is this course for:

We suggest a minimum age of 8 for this workshop.

What you’ll learn:

– How to plan a story and design a basic storyboard.
– How to build a set for your animations.
– How to animate using LEGO pieces.
– Fundamental video editing skills.

Equipment you’ll need:
All equipment will be provided on the day, you just need to bring yourself. However if you have your own Lego you’re more than welcome to bring that with you. 

JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU!
