Want to bring LEGO to life and create your own movie
This two-hour fun, creative and hands-on LEGO Stop-Motion Animation Workshop is the perfect activity to get you to discover and show off your creative talents by creating a stop-motion animation movie.
You will discover the techniques and tools required to bring LEGO characters to life and create your own short films. You will learn the process of planning, building, shooting, editing and publishing your own stop-motion movies. Your finished movie will be published on YouTube so you can watch it at home and share with friends and family.

Tickets for this workshop are £20 per workstation. Workstations are for up to 2 adults and 2 children
Who is the Stop-Motion Animation Workshop for:
This course is designed to teach the whole family how to create stop-motion animations. If you are bringing a young person under the age of 8 an adult must be available to stay and help them during the session.
What you’ll learn:
– The skills to plan a story and design a basic storyboard.
– Set building for your animations.
– How to animate using LEGO pieces.
– Fundamental video editing skills.
What you will leave with:

Everyone who takes part will also receive a certificate and pin badge that shows you have successfully completed this workshop and you are a certified MakoCreater.
Equipment you’ll need:
All equipment from the Stop-Motion Animation Workshop will be provided on the day, you just need to bring yourself.
If you wish to bring any lego pieces to feature in your movie, you are more than welcome to do so. Just remember to take them home with you!
