Project Overview

During six weekly sessions the participants will develop Minecraft building skills and learn to craft their own Minecraft-themed items to take home. This project has a particular focus on team-working and wellbeing while working towards creative goals, and participants will also learn about possible pathways into creative careers and get inspiration for other future endeavours.

 The range of activities on offer includes things like:

– Playing Minecraft & developing in-game building skills

– Designing & crafting a Minecraft-themed tote bag to take home

– Learning to craft an electric, light-up Minecraft-inspired paper torch to take home

Who can get involved?

We are looking for young people from Halton aged 10-16 who have an interest in Minecraft.

There are a maximum of 12 places available for participants on this project.

When does the project start?

This project is made up of 6 weekly, 2-hour sessions, held after-school on Tuesdays at 5:30pm-7:30pm. There is a week’s break for half-term after the first 3 sessions, please see dates below:

Where will the sessions take place?We are running this Project at The Studio (Lacey Street, Widnes).
