Learn how stop-frame animations can be made in the classroom using a range of technology such as digital cameras, iPads and smartphones, and edited using a variety of programmes.
The session will examine the ways in which animation can be used as a framework for a range of curricular needs, encouraging active learning and helping raise attainment for a range of assessment objectives.
Our workshop is the perfect activity for beginners to learn new creative skills.
Stop Motion allows people to think outside the box and create amazing videos, bringing inanimate objects to life.
The session will cover:
- Brief History of Animation / How Animation Works
- Choosing Suitable Materials
- Creating a Backdrop Set and Scenery
- Camera Shots
All participants will create their own Stop Motion videos using the skills learned during the session.
We can upload the finished results to our youtube account to be viewed at home and shared with family and friends.
We provide all equipment and materials for this session. All you need to bring is yourself. If you wish to bring any lego pieces to feature in your movie, you are more than welcome to do so. Just remember to take them home with you!
No animation experience is necessary. It is recommended that children are accompanied by an adult (additional tickets are not required for parents and guardians).
