CPD Training – New beginnings for our longest-running project

Even with the uncertain and challenging times COVID-19 has brought, Mako Create are delighted to announce that we are continuing to deliver free film based CPD training to teachers, in partnership with Into Film. This highly successful, film based CPD training programme is our longest-running project and is continuing into its’ fifth year. 

This year there will be a few changes to how we deliver the CPD training. To help ensure that everyone stays safe during the pandemic, all of the sessions are to be delivered online. Sessions will be delivered live via online video chat services such as Zoom, Google Hangouts or Microsoft Teams (or any other video conferencing service that your school uses).

These online Into Film sessions are enlightening and will help teachers to develop their skills in using the creative medium of Film in their everyday teaching.  All schools involved will still receive all the fantastic benefits of receiving CPD training from Into Film, such as access to free teaching resources and more in-depth online CPD training resources to take learning further.

All schools that sign-up will receive four FREE CPD Training sessions from our industry-experienced expert tutors. There is a wide range of training sessions available, all with different film-related topics. Sessions include Stop-Motion Animation, Raising Literacy, Filmmaking, Music and Soundtracking just to name a few. (See the full list here)
