Boost Creativity

Boost Creativity project is part of our Crewe Creative Careers programme, which is designed to help young people from challenging circumstances to get into creative careers. 

We have designed four online short creative courses, each focusing on a different creative subject:

• Stop-Motion Animation. (4 weekly sessions)
• Video Game Design. (4 weekly sessions)
• Audio Production. (4 weekly sessions)
• Digital Animation. (4 weekly sessions)

During each course, participants will take part in creative activities, learn new skills, be inspired, learn about pathways into creative careers, share their experiences and skills with others and achieve an Arts Award Discover certificate.

Incentives 

As an incentive for young people to complete the course, they will receive a £5 amazon voucher for every session they complete. If they complete the full course they will receive an additional £5 voucher for each session they attended. Maximum of £40 vouchers per course.

Who?

We are looking for young people from Cheshire East with an interest in the creative sector, who would like to develop their creative and personal skill set. Applicants should be aged between 11 and 25, all of the courses will run for two age ranges, 11-17 and 18-25. Young people from Crewe and young people in challenging circumstances will be prioritised.

When?

Technical Requirements 

As these courses are delivered online via Zoom, you will require the following to participate: 

• A device connected to the internet, to watch the tutor’s video stream. 
• Some courses may require additional materials, these details are available on the course pages.

How?

Click the relevant link below depending on the age of the applicant. Young people aged 11-17 will need a parent or guardian to apply on their behalf. We will be in touch with you ASAP to let you know if your application was successful.
