Digital Skills Training: An Overview

The creative and digital sectors are among the fastest-growing in the UK and a wide range of digital skills now an important part in many careers. Halton Adult Learning and Mako Create are working in partnership to deliver an exciting project designed to improve the digital skills of adults (19+) learners in Halton. 

We have developed four introductory courses which focus on different areas of the creative and digital sector. Each programme has been designed to help participants develop their digital skills and knowledge and become more confident using them.

Subjects

1 – Coding & Digital Technology Skills – (26th September 2019 – 20th December 2019)

2 – Web Design & Development – (26th September 2019 – 19th December 2019)

3 – Coding & Digital Technology Skills – Starting 16th January

4 – Marketing & Digital Advertising – Starting 16th January

5 – Film Making – Starting date TBC 

6 – Coding & Digital Technology Skills – Starting date TBC 

Costs

This project is part of the Test & Learn programme. This means that all of the courses are fully funded and they are free of charge to enrol.

Times & Locations

To help Halton residence to enrol in the courses, where possible we will be delivering the courses in Widnes and Runcorn. We’ve scheduled day time and evening courses to enable people to work the projects around their schedule. Exact times, dates and locations will become available when the courses are enrolling.
