on Into Film Teacher CPD Training Overview

We are once again delighted to be delivering FREE Film Based CPD training to schools on behalf of Into Film. Rolling into our 5th year of delivery, this CPD training has been extremely popular amongst teachers of students of all ages and abilities. 

The CPD training is again FREE and is extremely beneficial to anyone who works with young people in schools or higher education and beyond. By utilising film based training, practices and techniques, this training enhances learning and literacy throughout the curriculum.

With thanks to Into Film, we are able to offer each school a bespoke CPD course of 4 FREE online training sessions (see courses list below) over the course of the academic year. This approach means we are able to provide continual support to our trainees, whilst also providing more in-depth training.

When can we deliver CPD training?

We pride ourselves on being flexible and able to accommodate most school requirements. 

All 4 CPD sessions will be delivered at dates of your school’s choosing (subject to availability) over the course of this academic year. Training sessions can be during school time or after school and will last approximately 90-120 minutes each.

How will the CPD training be delivered?  

This year’s Into Film CPD training can be delivered either in person or online. Online sessions will be delivered on a platform of your school’s choosing. We’ve worked hard to ensure that the training is just as fun, engaging and effective as in person sessions.

As these courses are all designed specifically for all schools, many of the courses can be undertaken without the need for any technical equipment. Where equipment is required, participants will usually need nothing more than a tablet or smartphone (requirements and instructions will be sent out prior to delivery).

Requirements 

As this course is fully funded (100% FREE to you) so we need all schools who sign up to be able to commit to the following:

• Partaking in 4 CPD sessions throughout the school year. 
• Have a minimum of 15 teachers or TAs at each session. 
• Complete a pre/post project feedback on training. 
• Complete a post training survey 3 months after completing the training (to assess if learning has been embedded)
• Have one teacher complete a case study of the project.
