Project Overview

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with MakoDigital Arts CIC this Easter holidays to deliver FREE creative activities to young people from St Helens and Halton. These activities are part of the Holiday Activity Fund. This funding has enabled us to deliver a blended approach to activities with both online and face to face sessions. As well as delivering creative sessions we will also be working with partner organisations to provide food for the young people who take part in the face to face sessions.

The project will be split into four sections:

    The creative sessions will include; Video Game Design, Robotics, Drone Flying, Stop-Motion Animation, Digital Music Making and Many More!!! 

    Who can get involved?

    St Helens 

    In St Helens, we are looking for young people: 

    • Aged 10-17 
    • St Helens Resident
    • Eligible for free school meals 

    Halton

    In Halton, we are looking for young people: 

    • Aged 8-16 
    • Halton Resident
    • Eligible for free school meals

    How much does it cost?

    This project is completely free of charge for young people to attend. 

    When does the project start?

    Online Courses

    Our online courses run from 6th-9th April 

    • Ages 10-13 @ 10am-12pm

    • Ages 14-17 @ 1pm-3pm

    Face To Face Courses 

    Halton runs from 12th-18th April 

    • Ages 10-17 @ 10am-2pm

    St Helens runs from 13th-19th April 

    • Ages 10-17 @ 10am-2pm

    Where will the sessions take place?

    Online Courses 

    Our online course will take place on a Zoom video call.

    What equipment do I need?

    Online Courses 

    As this course is going to be delivered online there are a few things that you will need to be able to take part in the course:

    • Access to the internet
    • A device connected to the internet to watch the zoom video link (computer/laptop or tablet)
    • Another device connected to the internet to take part in the activity (computer/laptop, tablet or phone)

    If you don’t have access to any of the equipment required please let us know as we may be able to help. 

    Face To Face Course 

    We will bring all of the equipment required for the face to face course, so you don’t need to bring any equipment with you.
