WHAT IS THE DIGITAL ART PROJECT?

In a nutshell;

The Digital Art project facilitates NEET young people in Halton to work with digital artists over twelve weekly sessions. During these sessions the young people involved will learn a variety of new skills in Digital Art and work towards gaining a qualification in Digital Art.

The Digital Art project has been designed to cover a wide range of digital art areas including; film making, photography, graphic design, computer game design, music making, animation and a host of other digital art forms.

The young people taking part will use the new skills that they learnt to work towards an Arts Award qualification.

We are looking for 10 NEET young people aged 16-19, (NEET is a young person who is “Not in Education, Employment, or Training”) who have an interest in working with and exploring Digital Art. No previous experience is required to take part.

HOW MUCH DOES THE PROJECT COST?

The Digital Art project is free of charge, the costs for the workshops and qualification have been funded by Young Addaction Halton.

The participants received their Arts Awards Certificates at the celebration event. The project took place over twelve weekly digital arts sessions at Runcorn’s Hazlehurst Studios.  Hazlehurst Studio’s is a creative hub in the heart of Runcorn’s town centre. As part of the project the participants met with local artist’s to get an insight from them about being artists and their inspirations for creating art.
